The figures, rendered in polychrome enamels, depict characters from classical Chinese culture, including celestial figures, sages, and young assistants, immersed in a context rich with auspicious symbols. The decoration, executed with great attention to detail, combines landscape elements, stylized architecture, and floral motifs, creating a harmonious and dynamic composition typical of 20th-century ornamental production. At the bottom is the red seal mark “同治年製” (Tóngzhì nián zhì), used in modern times as a stylistic reference to the Tongzhi period of the Qing dynasty. The mark is considered apocryphal and indicates a later production made in traditional style.
